The prize list that will be raffled off by ÒThe Privacy StudyÓ consists of:
o One Apple iPod Touch, of the 4th generation, with storage capacity of 32 GBytes.
o 5 (five) digital copies of the game Starcraft II, from Blizzard. These copies are full versions of the game, playable on PC or MAC platforms.
Each participant is eligible to win only one of the prizes. Therefore there will be six distinct draw winners, one of each perceiving a single prize from the aforementioned list.
In order to be eligible to the draw and to receive the prize, the participant must obey the following terms and conditions:
1. Country of Residence: The participant must reside on one of the following countries/regions: Europe Union, Switzerland, Norway, United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Mexico, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan, India or Brazil.
2. The participant must have a valid Facebook account, which exposes his real name at the moment the participant first install the ÒPrivacy StudyÓ external application.
3. The participant Facebook friend list must be comprised of at least 10 friends at the moment the participant first install the ÒPrivacy StudyÓ external application and all of them must be valid accounts of real persons.
4. In order to receive the prize the participant agrees to have his name and a photograph of him published on the aforementioned websites.
5. The participant must be at least 18 years old at the moment the application is first installed.
The prizes will be drawn when the application reach its 2000th user or by December 12th of 2010, whichever happens first.
The participant will be contacted through Facebook messaging system in order to have his contact information collected. His identity shall then be verified and the prize perceived. The participant must respond to our private communication within 30 days or the prize will be redrawn.
In the case the participant doesnÕt obey any of the aforementioned conditions the prize shall be redrawn until one is attained.
The draw will happen digitally. Each participant will have assigned to himself a distinct random number, which will be written on a coupon and placed inside a digital bucket. Every time a participant attains 5 (five) different friends to install the application, he earns a new digital coupon with a different number, increasing his chances of perceiving a prize, statistically.
Example:
1. John Doe installed the application and 7 (seven) of his friends also did. John Doe and his friends will have then 2 (two) coupons each inside the digital bucket on the day of the draw.
2. Mary installed the application and 4 (four) of his friends did so as well. She and hers friends will have only 1 (one) coupon inside the digital bucket on the day of the draw.
3. Peter installed the application and 15 (fifteen) of his friends also did. He and his friends will get 4 (four) coupons each inside the digital bucket on the day of the draw. (1 for their own participation + 3 others from the participation of his friends)
